Because if you hold the lighter at an angle, the flame increases almost double - perfect for igniting bongs and other pipes! In addition, you can use the removable ignition pin which is actually used to replace the flint, conveniently as an ideal pipe bowl and joint stuffer. And there are still more plus points.
